About The Position

Registered Nurse weekend-option opportunities are available at Arbor Grove Village for day and night schedules. Nurses develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role involves creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere, supporting teamwork, collaborating with nursing and other facility teams, and maintaining respectful communication. Candidates should have a passion for geriatric nursing and demonstrate the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
