About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Weekend Option opportunity at Ben Hur in Crawfordsville. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and respectful interpersonal communication, along with a strong commitment to geriatric nursing and senior care.
Requirements
- Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Have proficient medication management skills.
- Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values.
Responsibilities
- Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.

- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
