About The Position
Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Pre-admit Testing (PAT) Clinic at the Indianapolis Campus. The nurse will prepare patients for their surgical or procedural experience and provide comprehensive patient care, including developing, implementing, reassessing, and evaluating plans of care for patients and their families. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
- Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license or a license recognized through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Three years of experience as an RN is preferred; hospital-setting experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for their surgical or procedural experience in the Pre-admit Testing Clinic.
- Develop, implement, reassess, and evaluate patient plans of care.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Listen to and assess patients as part of their care.
