About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the Pre-admit Testing Clinic, preparing patients for their surgical or procedural experience. Franciscan Health nurses provide comprehensive care by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating care for patients and their families. This role is full-time on the day shift and requires a team-oriented nurse who can be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a license recognized through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Three years of experience as an RN is preferred; hospital-setting experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for their surgical or procedural experience in the Pre-admit Testing Clinic.
- Listen to and assess patients.
- Develop, implement, reassess, and evaluate plans of care for patients.
