About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients and their families in a surgical unit at Franciscan Health Indianapolis Orthopedic Hospital. Nurses listen to and assess patients, develop plans of care, implement those plans, and reassess and evaluate each patient’s needs. The surgical unit has five operating room suites and primarily performs total joint and orthopedic spine cases. This is a full-time day-shift position with minimal required call shifts. The unit is closed on weekends and holidays, and travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state included in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Prior experience as an orthopedic operating room nurse.
- Team-oriented approach and flexibility in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
