About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Interventional Radiology (IR) team at the Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, Indiana. The nurse provides comprehensive patient care by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing them, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The role is part of a faith-based, mission-focused healthcare organization dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care for patients and their families. The position is a 1.0 day-shift role, scheduled Monday through Friday for either four 10-hour shifts or five shifts per week. It includes a call rotation once weekly and a weekend rotation. Typical patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:1. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing/Patient Care is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State Licensing Board in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Additional unit-specific certifications are required if required by the unit, including ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Patient Care preferred.
- Radiology, emergency department (ED), or intensive care unit (ICU) experience preferred.
