RN - Weekend Option
About The Position
Edgewater Woods is hiring a Registered Nurse for a day-shift weekend option. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for supportive, engaging care; leadership and teamwork; collaboration with nursing and other facility teams; and respectful interpersonal communication. The position requires an active Indiana RN license, medication management proficiency, and the ability to assess residents and document changes in their conditions. A passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence are also required.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

- Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
