About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse for a weekend option day-shift opportunity at Eagle Valley Meadows. The RN develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role emphasizes supportive resident care, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and respectful communication.

Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Demonstrate proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Work toward a shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Manage medications.
