About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CV Step Down unit provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care using the nursing process, directing patient-focused care in accordance with safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimal level of care.

The role is part-time and works nights. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available to qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Requirements

• Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualifying for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• For telemetry and higher-acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and basic EKG interpretation are required.
• No prior experience is required.
