About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care using the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care according to established safety, risk-management, quality-improvement, and infection-control standards, with the goal of discharging each patient after providing an optimum level of care.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualifying for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and basic EKG interpretation are required.
- No experience required.

Responsibilities
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
- Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.

- Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow infection-control procedures.
- Adhere to environmental care standards.
- Adapt care to varied age-specific patient populations.
- Coordinate the patient experience and integrate patient care using the nursing process.
- Direct safe, patient-focused care in accordance with established standards.
