About The Position
Kline Galland Home Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its East Side King County territory, including Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton Highlands, Issaquah, and Redmond/Woodinville. The role provides home health nursing care and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The nurse works with patients and caregivers to assess needs and coordinate patient-centered care, with support from an experienced interdisciplinary team. The position includes rotating weekend on-call coverage for triage and after-hours nursing needs; on-call weekends are compensated. The organization offers training and mentoring to strong candidates who have at least one year of RN experience.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in Washington state.
- At least one year of RN experience for candidates seeking the training and mentoring offered.
- Reliable car with current insurance coverage.
- Current driver's license.
- If MSL, complete Suicide Prevention Training before hire as required by state regulations.
- If MSL, complete the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) MSL demographic survey.
Nice To Haves
- Recent home health experience.
- Proficiency in Medicare OASIS E.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and their home health environments to determine required services.
- Complete timely OASIS documentation as required.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with patients and/or caregivers.
- Provide nursing care including wound care, catheter care, disease-process education, and medication teaching.
- Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage, triaging and addressing after-hours nursing needs as necessary.
