About The Position

Residential Home Health and Hospice is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in Wheeling and surrounding areas. The position offers autonomy and meaningful patient relationships, with support from an interdisciplinary team and a dedicated field education team. A $10,000 first-year success bonus is available for achieving key first-year milestones, with additional bonus opportunities as employees grow with the company.

The nurse performs patient assessments, manages medications, plans care, and educates patients and families about disease management and treatment plans. The role involves independent work, real-time problem-solving, and thorough, compliant electronic medical record documentation. The nurse travels to patient homes within an assigned territory and spends approximately 20% of the workday driving to and from patient locations. The position is 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the employee works.
• Have at least one year of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Be able to spend approximately 20% of the workday driving to and from patient locations.
• Successfully complete a drug screen before employment.
