Registered Nurse- Medical Intermediate
About The Position
Saint Luke’s North Hospital is seeking a new graduate Registered Nurse to join its Medical Intermediate Unit. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week day position in a hospital setting. The unit offers a supportive leadership team, Nursing Assistants, Intensivists and nurse practitioners working alongside RNs during shifts, and Respiratory Therapy available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts. The nurse is accountable for using the nursing process; providing patient care; delegating patient care tasks; supervising other patient care staff; and coordinating care for a group of assigned patients. The nurse consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to support optimal patient outcomes, demonstrates clinical proficiency, and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Associate degree.
