Registered Nurse- Medical Intermediate
About The Position
Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a new graduate Registered Nurse to join its Medical Intermediate Unit. In the hospital setting, the nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care, delegate care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff. The nurse coordinates care plans for assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team as needed to support optimal patient outcomes. The clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. The position offers a supportive leadership team, assistance from Nursing Assistants, collaboration with Intensivists and nurse practitioners during shifts, and Respiratory Therapy availability at night. Incentives are available for picking up additional shifts.
Requirements
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse credential; various credentials are accepted.
- Associate degree.
