About The Position

This position is intended for CRMC-Belmont. The employee will remain in their current position until a manager confirms an appropriate transfer date that allows for adequate orientation and training. The Registered Nurse renders professional nursing care to a group of assigned hospital patients, collaborates with medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care, and performs activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. The nurse also supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina, either a North Carolina license or a multistate compact license.
• Meet general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
• Hold current technical certificates as required by the specialty area, which may include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, NRP, STABLE, or TNCC.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Professional nursing certification preferred.
• Recent acute care experience within the past three years preferred.
