About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates and integrates patient care using the nursing process and directs care in accordance with established safety, risk-management, quality-improvement, and infection-control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care. This is a full-time, day-shift position. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, paid over 24 months.

Requirements

• Meet the education qualifications recognized by the State of Florida for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• Hold BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior clinical experience in the area of expertise.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CCRN certification.
• TNCC certification.
• PALS certification.
• ACLS and Basic EKG, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in meetings, and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.
• Adhere to corporate, regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow infection-control procedures at all times.
• Adhere to environmental-care standards.
