About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a per diem (PRN) Registered Nurse for long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation at a skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation center in Baltimore, Maryland. Nurses use an app to select available shifts, with instant confirmations, and may choose shifts as far ahead as availability allows. The role offers an hourly rate of $47.05. Available shifts are evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET and days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, with shift durations of 8 or 12 hours.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience; long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Maryland RN license or compact license.
• Active BLS certification (AHA only).
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Hepatitis B series or titer.
• MMR series or titer.
• Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years or titer.
• Varicella series or titer.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or sub-acute experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation residents.
• Administer medications and treatments, including wound care, according to physician orders.
• Assess residents, update care plans, and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and GNAs/CNAs on the unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
