About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a per diem (PRN) Registered Nurse for a skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation center in Baltimore, Maryland. The role provides nursing care to long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation residents. Nurses can select available shifts through an app, with instant confirmations and the ability to schedule as far ahead as shifts are available. Available shifts include evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET and days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, in 8- or 12-hour durations. The hourly rate is $47.05.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Active, unencumbered Maryland RN license or compact license.
• Active BLS certification (AHA only).
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Hepatitis B series or titer.
• MMR series or titer.
• Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years or titer.
• Varicella series or titer.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation residents.
• Administer medications and treatments, including wound care, according to physician orders.
• Assess residents, update care plans, and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and GNAs/CNAs on the unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
