About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care at a skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation center in Laurel, Maryland. The role allows nurses to select available shifts through an app, with instant confirmations and the option to schedule ahead as shifts become available. The position pays $39.77 per hour and offers eight-hour day, evening, and night shifts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Maryland LPN license or compact license.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Hepatitis B series or titer.
• MMR series or titer.
• Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years or titer.
• Varicella series or titer.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or sub-acute experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents under RN or physician direction.
• Monitor vital signs and resident condition, and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, catheter care, and glucose monitoring.
• Document care accurately and support GNAs/CNAs on the unit.
