Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting at Alexian Village of Tennessee in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. The role includes administering medications and treatments, performing routine assessments, monitoring resident conditions, and reporting changes to registered nurses. The nurse builds consistent, trusting relationships with residents and families and is expected to be detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to resident safety and comfort. The position is in the Skilled Nursing department and follows a full-time weekend-option schedule.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted.
- High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
