About The Position
Provide quality patient care in a supportive environment at a long-term care home in Mt. Morris. The role is scheduled for evenings from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with four shifts per week and every other weekend required. Pay is $35 or more per hour.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and skilled nursing procedures.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and health conditions.
- Follow infection control standards and facility policies.
