About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the Skilled Nursing department at Providence Village in Waco, Texas. The role implements, monitors, and evaluates patient care plans; carries out physician and nursing orders; tracks vital signs; and documents patient condition. The nurse coordinates care across healthcare disciplines, evaluates patient needs, and supports seamless discharge planning. The role also emphasizes comprehensive nursing care, patient safety, identifying environmental hazards or critical situations, and taking immediate corrective action. The schedule is full-time, days. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credential obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
Obtain either a BLS Provider credential or an Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support within 30 days of the hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross credentials are accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or the required professional licensure at the time of hire.
