About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on a full-time day shift. The role is suited to RNs with at least one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or stepdown setting who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The nurse provides individualized bedside care using the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports high-quality outcomes for cardiac patients. The role also involves initiatives such as hourly rounding and may include serving as a charge nurse as needed.

Requirements

At least one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Current RN license in the State of Arizona, or eligibility to obtain one.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon completion of orientation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service.
Basic computer proficiency.
Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff when needed.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
Supervise and delegate tasks to other members of the healthcare team.
Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
Participate in hourly rounding initiatives.
Serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed.
