About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on a full-time night shift. The role is suited to RNs with at least one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, CVICU, or ICU setting who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Registered Nurse provides individualized bedside care using the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and works to ensure high-quality outcomes for cardiac patients. The nurse participates in initiatives such as hourly rounding and may serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the State of Arizona, or eligibility for one.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon completion of orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in initiatives such as hourly rounding.
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity as needed.
