About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care using the nursing process, directing patient-focused care according to established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control to support an optimal level of care at discharge.

This is a part-time day-shift position in the CV Step Down unit. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, paid over 24 months.

Requirements

• Meet the education requirements recognized by the State of Florida for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• Hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
• For telemetry and higher-acuity units, hold AHA ACLS certification and demonstrate basic EKG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.

• Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow infection control procedures.
