About The Position

American Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to residents. In this role, nurses build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position offers day, evening, and night shifts. Full-time and part-time benefits may vary, and terms and conditions apply.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
