About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) at Riverwalk Village. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and respectful interpersonal communication to help provide coordinated, excellent resident care. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
