About The Position

Valparaiso Care & Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse for evening and night shifts, with earning potential of $43 per hour. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

• Ability to work collaboratively and support teamwork and respectful communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
