About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Michigan City Campus. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing them, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The role is in a 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio and offers a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. The opening is for a .9 FTE day position, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Experienced nurses and new graduate nurses are welcome.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
Responsibilities
