About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Michigan City campus. The nurse provides comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing those plans, and reassessing and evaluating each patient's needs. The role is in a fast-paced, didactic learning environment. Current openings are on 5 East, a 25-bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, and 5 West, a 21-bed Med/Surg unit with a 5:1 patient ratio. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- New graduates are welcome.
