About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Michigan City Campus. RNs provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating care. Current .9 D openings are in 5 East, a 25-bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit, and 5 West, a 21-bed Med/Surg unit. Both units have a 5:1 patient ratio. The role includes a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment, and requires rotating weekends and holidays. Travel is never or rarely required. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or in a state included in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- New graduates are welcome.
