About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 24-bed unit at its Michigan City Campus. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing and reassessing those plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The role offers a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. Current openings are for .6 FTE, with day shifts and rotating weekends and holidays. The unit has a 4:1 patient ratio. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Experienced and new graduate nurses are welcome.
Responsibilities
