About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families by developing, implementing, reassessing, evaluating, and revising plans of care. Plans are tailored to individual patients based on psychosocial and physiologic assessments, cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs, trends among similar patients, and physicians’ orders. The RN uses knowledge, skills, and experience to support patients and families throughout the continuum of care, including through education, and follows applicable nursing regulations, standards, and Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures. This part-time position is in the 29-bed 3A Adult Psych Unit at Franciscan Health Dyer Campus. It offers an alternating-shift schedule and a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented approach and flexibility to meet patient-care needs.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Responsibilities
