About The Position
Franciscan Health Crown Point is hiring a Registered Nurse for a .6 FTE opening. Registered Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating those plans. This role is in a fast-paced operating room environment with 10 operating rooms and 1:1 patient ratios. On-call coverage is required, with the nurse required to be within 30 minutes. The position includes a didactic learning experience. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Experienced nurses required.
- Must be able to meet the on-call requirement of being within 30 minutes.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Operating room experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
