About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Michigan City Campus. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating care. The position is on a 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio and includes a didactic learning experience in a fast-paced environment. The current opening is for a 0.6 FTE day schedule, with rotating weekends and holidays. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Experienced nurses and new graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
