About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Michigan City Campus. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing those plans, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. Current openings are for .9 D positions in a fast-paced, didactic learning environment. Units listed include 5 East, a 25-bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, and 5 West, a 21-bed Med/Surg unit with a 5:1 patient ratio. The role includes rotating weekends and holidays, and travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
