About The Position
Concordia Hospice of Washington is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, personalized end-of-life care to patients and their families. The role focuses on comfort and quality of life, including assessing and managing patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; developing individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team; administering medications and treatments; managing pain and other symptoms; and educating and supporting families through the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions. The nurse manages their own schedule, prioritizes tasks, and makes independent patient-care decisions while working with a collaborative team. Requirements
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Adaptability, compassion, and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Experience in palliative care, hospice, or oncology.
Responsibilities
- Continuously assess patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments, focusing on pain management and symptom control.
- Educate families about the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions.
- Provide emotional support to patients’ families.
- Manage and prioritize the nurse’s schedule and tasks, and make independent decisions regarding patient care.
