About The Position
Aveanna is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate home nursing care to an adult patient in Dudley, Georgia. The patient has a tracheostomy and pets in the home. The schedule lists shifts on Sunday, Monday through Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with day or night options on Sunday. Aveanna provides home-care support and electronic documentation through a tablet in the patient’s home. Requirements
- Hold and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where practicing.
- Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days, if applicable.
- Maintain current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
- Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
- Have reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide home nursing care to an adult patient with a tracheostomy.
- Work collaboratively with other Registered Nurses to support clinical outcomes.
- Complete electronic documentation using the tablet provided in the patient’s home.
