About The Position

Aveanna is hiring a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide compassionate home nursing care to a child with high-acuity needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, in Norcross, Georgia. The scheduled shifts are Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and every other Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Aveanna describes its culture as people-focused and supportive, with 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians. Requirements

Maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
Hold current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
Have reliable transportation.
In Georgia, one year of hands-on nursing experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred, except where the Georgia one-year requirement applies.
