About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one overnight care to pediatric clients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs in their homes. Nurses provide focused, individualized care and build meaningful relationships with clients. Pediatric trach/vent experience is not required; training is provided.

Open overnight cases include shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for children in ZIP codes 19150, 19141, and 19111, with availability varying by case. LPN shifts may be 8 or 12 hours, and third-shift work is available as PRN, part-time, or full-time. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimums; nurses may work as little as one shift per week.

The role involves traveling to a single client’s home, following and documenting doctors’ orders, performing assessments, monitoring client conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations. Nurses work autonomously in the home with around-the-clock clinical support by phone.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid nursing license.
• Graduate from a qualified nursing program.
• Maintain CPR certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one overnight nursing care to pediatric clients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs in their homes.
• Travel to one client home according to the selected schedule.
• Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
