About The Position

Aveanna is hiring an LPN/LVN for in-home nursing care for a teenager with high-acuity tracheostomy and ventilator needs. The patient lives on a farm with many animals in Abbeville, Georgia. Trach/vent experience is required. The scheduled shift is Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Aveanna describes its homecare as compassionate and patient-centered, with nurses working together to support clinical outcomes. The company provides 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians, and a tablet in the patient’s home for electronic documentation. Benefit eligibility may vary based on employment status and location.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
Compact licenses must be transferred to the clinician’s state of residence within 90 days.
Current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna may assist with obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
Current TB skin test, within the last 12 months.
Reliable transportation.
Trach/vent experience is required.
Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
