About The Position

Aveanna is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home nursing care to a teenager in Abbeville, Georgia. The patient has high-acuity needs involving a tracheostomy and ventilator, and the nurse must have trach/vent experience. The patient lives on a farm with many animals.

The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Nurses provide compassionate homecare and work together to support strong clinical outcomes. Aveanna provides 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians, and a tablet in the patient’s home for electronic documentation.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the clinician’s state of residence within 90 days.
• Trach/vent experience is required.
• Current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining it after hire if necessary.
• Current TB skin test, within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation.
• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
