About The Position

Aveanna is hiring a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide compassionate homecare and support clinical outcomes for a young adult with high-acuity needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care. The patient is located in Woodstock, Georgia (30188) and has a dog. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The position is with a national private duty nursing company that emphasizes a supportive, diverse workplace and provides 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians. Electronic documentation is completed using a tablet available in the patient’s home. Scheduling options at Aveanna include full-time, part-time, or PRN work, with day, night, and weekend shifts; the posting notes that scheduling can be coordinated around availability.

Requirements

Maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
Hold current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
Have reliable transportation.
Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
