About The Position
Aveanna is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate homecare to a teenage patient in Covington with high-acuity tracheostomy and ventilator needs. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Nurses work together to support outstanding clinical outcomes. Patient-home tablets are provided for electronic documentation, and local operator and clinician support is available 24/7. Career pathing, skill advancement, and paid training opportunities are available. Benefit eligibility may vary based on employment status and location.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where practicing.
- Transfer a compact license to the state of residence within 90 days.
- Hold current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna can assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
- Have a TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
- Have reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate home nursing care to a teenage patient with tracheostomy and ventilator needs.
- Document care electronically using the tablet provided in the patient’s home.
- Work with other care team members to support clinical outcomes.
