About The Position

Aveanna is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity in-home nursing care to a young adult patient with a tracheostomy and ventilator in Woodstock, Georgia. The home has a dog. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

The company provides local support from operators and clinicians, and each patient’s home has a tablet for electronic documentation. Benefit eligibility may depend on employment status and location.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna may assist with obtaining this after hire if necessary.
• TB skin test current within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation.
• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred but not required; one year is required in Georgia.
