About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department at Baptist & Wolfson Town Center Emergency Room. This is a PRN night-shift opportunity. The nurse provides care for patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, and other conditions; educates patients and families about disease processes and plans of care; and collaborates with physicians, hospital departments, and ancillary services. The role also includes advocating for patients, upholding the hospital mission, and participating in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Hospital experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN).
• Conscious Sedation Certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification.

Responsibilities
