About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Baptist & Wolfson Town Center Emergency Room. This is a part-time night-shift opportunity. The nurse provides care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, and other conditions; educates patients and families about disease processes and plans of care; and advocates for patients. The role involves interacting with physicians and other hospital departments, coordinating care provided by ancillary services, upholding the hospital’s mission, and participating in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Medical Surgical Nursing experience.
• Hospital experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN).
• Conscious Sedation Certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC).

Responsibilities
