About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Baptist Emergency at ED North in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time night-shift position scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The emergency department serves a growing community in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role is suited to nurses committed to clinical excellence and patient advocacy.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience.
- Hospital experience.
- Associate of Science in Nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Department experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- CEN.
- TNCC.
- NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based care to emergency patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate care with ancillary services.
- Serve as a patient advocate.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
