About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Harrison Terrace provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role involves learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and building meaningful relationships while contributing to a rewarding, resident-centered care environment. Nurses collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care and support teamwork, respectful communication, and excellent senior care.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Bring supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet and exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
