About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the 9 South Cardiac Telemetry Unit, a specialized 44-bed department caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including heart rhythm and blood pressure abnormalities, chest pain, and recovery from cardiac procedures such as catheterizations and ablations. The unit uses advanced telemetry technology for continuous cardiac monitoring and maintains nurse-to-patient ratios of 3–4:1 and 4–5:1. Nurses support early detection of cardiac changes, prompt intervention, patient education, recovery, and complication prevention.
